OK, so I didn't do a good job keeping the world updated on Will's birthday festivities, but that sort of makes sense because I also didn't do a good job taking pictures of the event. The memory card was full when it came time for cake and ice cream and I only realized later how easy it would have been to delete some pictures from the camera. Oh well. The camera batteries were dead for Ryan's birthday, so I guess fair is fair.

Anyway, it was a really nice birthday. Robbie, Jess, and Henry were here for the weekend, and our friend Ann brought a positively decadent teddy-bear cake for the party. Our friends Layla and Sami and their parents rounded out the group. The kids played nicely, there were lots of excellent presents, the cake was delicious, and I really think everyone had a nice time. It was an exhausting weekend for the birthday boy (see below for proof).
