Halloween gets two thumbs up

See? It made this kid happy, anyway.



The boys went trick-or-treating AND we watched The Worst Witch. Twice. The evening could not have been better.


The aftermath: He acted like he'd never had his own candy bar before. Wait, he never had had his own candy bar before. Well, believe you me, he became an instant fan.


The more experienced guy played it a bit more cool, but he did find himself in a bit of a frenzy due to the sheer quantity and diversity of options. He took single bites of several candies and then threw them away to try the next thing. Eh, it works for me. I guess that's better than eating everything.
